History:
Born into a poor family, Mabel learned quickly that money isn't everything. Her mother and father were poor farmers who needed all the help they could get just to get by. Mabel would help farm as soon as she was old enough to hold a hoe. When she got a bit older she began to grow her own garden of flowers and helped sell those to help the family get by. She has one younger sister who still lives with her parents.
